Note that an imperial pint and a US pint are not the same, but the fluid ounce is not much different in the two systems. An imperial pint is 568 ml; a US pint is 473 ml (about 17% less). Thus, an imperial fluid ounce is 28.4 ml and a US fluid ounce is just over 29.5 ml.
